I have a confirmed case of swine flu. Yes, I actually have it this time, the doctor got my results back today. I just have to ride it out because when I tried taking Tamiflu, I threw up for 3 hours after. It sucks! I’ve been sick since Sunday, but because I didn’t go out over the weekend, I haven’t left the house except to go to the doctor since I got home from work on Friday afternoon. I also can’t go out this weekend due to a 7 day quarantine my doctor has told me to keep. Yay. But I go back to work Monday

It’s Amazing!

For the first time in my working life, I have Christmas and New Years off. Completely. I’m in shock that the holidays did actually get approved, but now I’m no longer a department manager, it means that they can be a bit flexible with giving me holidays! So, I finish work on Dec 22, and don’t go back until Jan 4th! Which means New Years Eve in Adelaide this year

The other big news is that I have been having driving lessons and I have actually booked in both my hazard perception test and my driving test! Not saying the dates, I don’t want to have to admit that I’d failed if I do! My instructor is very good though, so I’m confident he will lead me to victory! Then my nice little Yaris named Mel will have something to do every day rather than sitting in the garage getting used when Pascal needs her

Had an awesome night last night. Went to The Hallam with Jay, Ange and Jay’s brother Andrew for some karaoke Lot’s of drinking, dancing and singing Plus got to check out Jay’s new house for the first time and it’s brilliant!

Now I’m trying to think if there’s anything interesting really coming up soon… But nope, nothing comes to mind! All I can think of in the future at the moment is working my way through GH: Metallica and Bioshock! Until next time, I bid you adieu!
