I have a brand new favourite pastime… Karaoke! I’ve gone the last 3 weeks running and it has turned into a weekly thing. Hosted by Jamie and Jay at Strike Bowling Bar on Chapel St, it has really given me something to look forward every week. Made new mates (woo Carrie!) and has given me an opportunity to scratch my performance itch.

I have 2 regular songs in my repertoire, being The Saga Begins by Weird Al Yankovic and Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. I never really saw karaoke as something that I’d get into because I’m not the worlds best singer, but it’s been such a great experience so far and will produce many more fun times in the future!

I sit here at 1:21am on May 19th. Officially my 21st birthday.

The one thing that is going through me head? “Shit, I’m getting old!”
